Man dies as retaining front wall of newly constructed GMC collapses in Rajouri | KNO

Rajouri, July 11 (KNO): An elderly man died after a portion of retaining front wall of newly constructed Government Medical College Rajouri collapsed on Sunday. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the 65-year-old man identified as Karan Singh, resident of Maira village of Rajouri died after the wall collapsed on him. He said that the man had gone to attend nature’s call in the fields near the newly constructed building of GMC Rajouri. “He came under the wall when it suddenly collapsed.” "A rescue operation was launched by the authorities with the help of a local army unit. After three hours of operation, his body was removed from the debris,” the officials said—(KNO)
